Primary Scripture
But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation, and said to them,
“Allow the little children to come to me! Don’t forbid them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.
Most certainly I tell you, whoever will not receive God’s Kingdom like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.”
He took them in his arms, and blessed them, laying his hands on them.
Mark 10:14-16

As you lay your little head
May you hear what Jesus says
Let the little children come to me
For my Father’s kingdom belongs to these
As you close your little eyes
Send your worries to the skies
Stars like the drops of water on your skin
The day when the word and the Spirit first came in,
and Jesus loved you so
Oh, he’ll always hold you in his loving arms
As you dream my little one
May you dream upon the Son
See his tender arms reach out to you
Feel the blessing of his hands and know, he’ll never let you go
Oh, he’ll always hold you in his loving arms
